[Archive] LITERAL ADDICTION's Review of Night's Deep Hush

Erin Kellison: stories have always been a central part of Erin's life. She attempted her first book in the 6th grade, a dark fantasy adventure, and still has those early hand-written chapters. She graduated summa cum laude with a degree in English Language and Literature, and went on for a masters in Cultural Anthropology, focusing on oral storytelling. When she had children, nothing scared her anymore, so her focus shifted to writing fiction. She lives in Arizona with her two beloved daughters and husband, and she will have a dog (breed undetermined) when her youngest turns five.

You can keep up with Erin online at her Website, on Facebook, on Twitter, and on GoodReads.

Dreaming turns dangerous...

Malcolm Rook and Jordan Lane are on the run from powerful forces that seek their deaths. But they are discovered by someone from Rook's dark past. Under no circumstances will Rook allow this criminal to learn how talented Jordan is in the world Darkside. Instead, Rook succumbs so that she has a chance to survive.

Rook has been abducted and Jordan assumes the worst. She's fallen for him and will do anything to get him back. Alone on the streets, she concocts a plan that will take her into the black market of dreams to find help. An unlikely ally comes to her aid, and together they search and fight...one for love, the other for vengeance.

Night's Deep Hush is the fourth installment in the Reveler serial, a hot paranormal romance set in a world where shared dreaming is a new pop culture phenomenon that allows people to indulge their wildest fantasies. But there are also unknown dangers Darkside; nightmares are slowly infiltrating not only dreams, but the waking world as well.

Revel with me.

Night's Deep Hush was another fabulous installment to the series that has become like a drug for me. I can't get enough, I always want more, I get completely swept away while reading, & I tell everyone they need to try it. ;-) So, SO good. Erin is a master storyteller & she does dark fairytales like no other.

Each book of the REVELER series thus far as featured a different couple and allowed the reader to get engrossed in the world. Night's Deep Hush brings all of those characters back together and elaborates on the overall story arc of the series while introducing additional intrigue for future installments, and the secrets of the series's 'big bad' are being revealed and are oh so titillating!

While I've loved every book of the series, book #2 was probably my least favorite, book #1 was my favorite of them all, and this one (#4) was a very close second as it reminds me why I adore Erin Kellison's writing so much. It's intricate, poetic, action packed, dark, dangerous, intriguing, and yet sexy, and it will allow you to get completely lost for a bit.

These books are super fast paced and intense, the characters are totally fascinating, the world is utterly incredible and unique, and you will always be left wanting to know who might be center stage in the next book and what else might be revealed.

I highly recommend this series to all fans of dark urban fantasy, but I do suggest reading the series in order for maximum enjoyment. :) Revel a little... you won't be disappointed!
